Meet the Founder
Meet Katie - Director and Founder of The Glasgow Piano Teachers and wee sister company Piano Bairns.
Katie has been and in demand music educator in Glasgow for over 13 years and has worked in early years education for over 5 years. Katie is passionate about working through students performance anxiety and using a mixture breath work, The Alexander technique and her own personal experience she has helped young musicians achieve their performance goals.
Through this experience, Katie launched The Glasgow Piano Teachers in 2021 and now has a community of teachers working under the same ethos to provide Piano lessons across the Glasgow area.
In 2023, Katie launched Piano Bairns. It is one of the first music classes to specialise in early keyboard skills for the under 5s.
